Marvel Announces New Jean Grey Limited Series
Is more Phoenix Force a good thing?
Today is a day of announcements. Marvel has posted news that Jean Grey is getting a new solo limited series.
Following her intergalactic adventures as Phoenix, Jean Grey returns to Earth this November in JEAN GREY #1, the start of a five-issue limited series from X-Men (2024) writer Jed MacKay and acclaimed artist Rogê Antônio, known for his recent work on Cyclops (2026). Announced earlier today in AIPT Comics' X-Men Monday column, the series comes hot on the heels of DNX, the upcoming X-Men and Fantastic Four crossover from MacKay and artist Federico Vicentini.
There’s a lot of Jean Grey going around lately. Here’s hoping the MCU version isn’t awash in the Phoenix Force like her current comics counterpart.
